Robert Plant To Hit The Road This Summer

After a couple of detours (a duo album with Alison Krauss, a covers project with his Band Of Joy, oh, and the Led Zeppelin reunion), Robert Plant is back together with his longtime band, the Sensational Shape Shifters, for a U.S. tour that kicks off June 20 in Dallas.

Robert Plant Knocked Over By Crazed Fan In Argentina

Robert Plant took a spill when a deranged fan stormed the stage during his performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 1. The stage invasion happened while Plant and his band, The Sensational Space Shifters, were finishing their take on Led Zeppelin’s classic “Rock And Roll.” The man rushed the stage, but security quickly tackled him and shut down his attempt to approach the former Zeppelin frontman.

Robert Plant’s New Album: ’12 Tracks, 11 Originals, No Sentimental Stuff’

Plant’s songwriting drought will come to and end with his next album, which features a new backing band, The Sensational Shape Shifters. Plant tells England’s Telegraph that his next record is almost finished, and will feature “Twelve tracks, eleven originals and no sentimental stuff.”

Robert Plant Releases Two Live Albums

Robert Plant recently surprised fans by releasing a downloadable live album of a concert with his new band, The Sensational Shape Shifters, the day after the concert. The show was recorded at the HMV Forum in London on July 12 and released as a digital download the following day.
