I live in Texas and wish I could have been there. However, I am shocked that Mike Nesmith was not there. Mike is a jerk! Davy really criticized Mike for many years saying he almost resented the Monkees. i believe Davy. Shame on you Mike. Davy said once that Mike had his head planted firmly up his ass. Savy was sure right!

The event was a really great tribute to Davy Jones! I came in from Boston & it was worth every minute.Really glad that Micky Dolenz & Peter Tork showed up.Too bad that Mike Nesmith did’nt appear but that was expected.Hopefully they’ll do more DJ tribute events.The Monkees are my favorite group.I laughed! I cried!..but laughed more! It was a nice healing event!Davy Jones will live on!!! Monkees forever!!!
