Tony Orlando: It’s a ‘Privilege’ and ‘Honor’ to Perform at Salute to Our Armed Services Inauguration Ball

Tony Orlando will be present in Washington, D.C. during the inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump today (January 20) as he performs at one of the official events, the Salute to Our Armed Services Ball.

“It’s always a privilege, a humbling, and honor to be invited by the President-elect [to] one of the three official balls in Washington — and one that serves armed services; that I’m so proud of,” says Orlando.

“One thing about Donald Trump… he said something that I think was very, very great. He said, ‘I want people to be able to afford to go to this thing,'” says Orlando. The Salute to Our Armed Services Ball is free by invitation only to members and veterans of the armed services and their families.
