Late Late Show Spoof of Kansas’ ‘Dust in the Wind’ is Full of Frills and Hair

Subtly, at times, is funnier than a pie to the face. Or watching a person trip and fall. That’s exactly what James Corden had in mind when he recently had The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons on The Late Late Show.

Dressed in frills and covered in hair, Corden and Parsons spoofed the music video for Kansas“Dust in the Wind” — directed by Bruce Gowers in 1978 — as singer Steve Walsh and violinist Robby Steinhardt with two musicians filling the roles of guitarists Rich Williams and Kerry Livgren.

All looks fine — a smokey room filled with heart-felt song — until things took an odd turn as Corbin and Parsons slowly became consumed by pink frills and hair from both scalp and beard. Watch it below.
