Eddie Vedder brought Pearl Jam’s show at Chicago’s Wrigley Field to a screeching halt Monday night when he apparently saw a man in the crowd harassing a woman.

The band was in the middle of “Lukin’” when Vedder prompted them to stop. “Hey! Hey mister! Hey, hey, get your finger out of that woman’s face motherf—–” Vedder said as he called out the man in the audience.

Vedder made sure the fan was kicked out of the show before reassessing the situation. “Ma’am, you’re OK? Yeah? You’re good? Alright, good. … That’s a good man, taking care of your woman, and then she was taking care of herself too pretty good,” he told the crowd before they went back into “Lukin’”.
