Saturday in the Park returns once again to the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, Long Island on August 13th for a F R E E concert featuring CBS-FM favorites Eddie Money and Taylor Dayne.
As you likely know, Dayne made a major splash with her 1987 hit “Tell It to My Heart”; one of seven songs to break into the Top 10 in the US.
What you might not know is that Dayne has been very busy since her string of successful hits during the late 80s and early 90s. She may not have been topping the pop charts (the dance charts are another story), which has removed her from the spotlight, so there might be plenty of tidbits that fans like yourself might have missed out on.

Dayne is a fantastic cook
Dayne, like the rest of us, goes to Instagram to share her latest culinary creations.
Maybe she got some tips from her buddy, Guy Fieri.
Dayne is a bit of a gym rat
When you put on an energetic live show like Taylor Dayne, you need to keep the cardio up and never miss a leg day. And, of course, gym selfies are occasionally necessary.
Dayne performed on Broadway
Back in 2013, Dayne played the role of Grizabella in CATS, which she called “one of the greatest roles I’ve had the honor to perform.”
Dayne weighs in on the guitar greats debate
Who is the greatest guitarist of all-time? That’s a debate: is it Clapton, Page, or B.B. King? Not according to Taylor Dayne.
Be sure to catch Taylor Dayne’s performance on August 13th at WCBS-FM’s Saturday In The Park! See you there!
