Michael Phelps & U.S. Olympic Swim Team Sing Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus & More in Epic Carpool Karaoke

By Robyn Collins

Tonight (August 5) it will be down to serious business as the opening ceremonies of the 2016 Rio Olympics commence. Gold medal Olympian Michael Phelps has the honor of carrying the U.S. flag.

In the meantime, however, the legendary swimmer crammed into a car with other members of Team U.S.A. to bust out some serious karaoke jams.

Phelps got a call from his mama, but told her he had to go, because he was busy with carpool karaoke.

It was like a relay of sorts, jumping from one group of swimmers to the next. Among the swimmers-turned-singers were Missy Franklin, Ryan Lochte, Elizabeth Beisel, Katie Ledecky, Nathan Adrian and a dozen others.

The soundtrack included by everyone from Justin Bieber to Flo Rida, the themes from Friends and That 70s Show, One Direction, Zac Brown Band, Fifth Harmony and, of course, it wrapped up with one of the catchiest songs of all time, Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA.”
