Axl Rose Will Not Be Signing Autographs Anymore, Blames Resellers

Guns ‘N’ Roses founder and new front man for AC/DC, Axl Rose, has laid out his intentions to not sign your CD’s, photos or baby’s forehead anytime in the near future in a Tweet posted at the end of May.

Actually your baby’s forehead may still be fair game…

He’s placing the blame on resellers of signed merchandise for his decision, saying he just “can’t take da ebayers”, so it looks like you’re SOL next time you see the man about town.

UltimateClassicRock.com has more details regarding Axl’s comments, as well as a list of other rockers who have also jumped on board the ‘nope-not-signing-that’ bandwagon, including Kid Rock, the Nuge and more.

Additionally, you can read an op-ed column in the Wall Street Journal by Scott Shannon‘s BFF Taylor Swift who, always with her ear on the pulse of social media, states that autographs are “obsolete” and all kids want these days is a #selfie with their favorite star to post on Instagram. There’s no resale value in those, so Axl, take note.

I suppose there’s always the option of asking him to sign a body part, too. But that could be a little awkward, depending on the body part, and who it’s attached to.
