Jimmy Fallon, Paul Rudd Tackle Styx’s ‘Too Much Time on My Hands’ Video

By Annie Reuter

Jimmy Fallon traveled back in time to create his latest music video spoof. On Friday (April 29), Fallon teamed up with Paul Rudd to reenact Styx‘s 1981 music video “Too Much Time on My Hands.”

While the two funnymen didn’t recreate the entire video, the two-minute clip was more than enough to keep viewers entertained.

In the video, Fallon plays the role of Styx keyboardist Dennis DeYoung while Rudd portrays frontman Tommy Shaw complete with a turquoise jumpsuit. Both Fallon and Rudd have over-the-top wigs and facial hair and flawlessly act out each movement and expression from the classic video.

This isn’t the first time Fallon has recreated music videos from the past. Previously, he starred in redos of Lionel Richie’s “Hello” and Extreme’s “More Than Words.”
