Order, order, order in the court! Whether you’re guilty or not of following Judge Judy and her antics for the past 18 years, well… the 19th season is finally here! And with the new season, there’s more hilarious situations in store for Judge Judy Scheindlin.
The New York Times Best selling author called in on the Big Show Star Phone to talk with Scott Shannon and the gang this morning about her long and illustrious career. And as a sign of thank you, Judge Judy released her latest book “What Would Judy Say: Be The Hero Of Your Own Story” as a free download on her website, WhatWouldJudySay.com.
“Well, you know, sometimes you’re supposed to say ‘Thank You’ when people have been good to you,” she told Scott. “These people have been good to me for a very very long time and once in a while you feel as if you have a message that people can take away a piece of advice or two… The good ones that I have, I think I should pass along.”
Though the book is free, Judge Judy does encourage readers to donate to her favorite charity, Stand Up to Cancer.
In addition to the free book, the Emmy award winning television judge talked about her new show, “Hot Bench,” focusing on a panel of three judges and how they make trial decisions.
“So we give the people an opportunity to see, not only the trial process, but the deliberation process as well,” she explains. “How judges decide, I mean we’re people, what a verdict should be.”
Catch the 19th season of Judge Judy weekdays at 4pm on CBS plus her new show “Hot Bench” airing weekdays at noon on WLNY (Channel 10 in NJ or 55 in NY).
And if you want a free download of her book “What Would Judy Say: Be The Hero Of Your Story,” check it out on What Would Judy Say!
