‘Shark Tank’ Investor Barbara Corcoran Has No Idea Who Jimmy Kimmel Is

Shark Tank‘s Barbara Corcoran is an investor who likes to see the dreams of aspiring entrepreneurs come true; especially if it means she can make a little money herself. Admittedly, Corcoran was a daydreamer in school – not something the education system promotes – and that helps her envision the future of a product or service; whether it will be successful or fall by the wayside.

That vision didn’t help her on a recent episode of Shark Tank when two “potential entrepreneurs” proposed an investment of $500,000 for 10% for their line of Horse Pants.

What Corcoran didn’t realize was that the two men standing in front of them were her ABC late night counterparts, Jimmy Kimmel and his trusty sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez.

“When he walked onto the set, I said immediately to Mark Cuban to my right, ‘Who is this guy? He looks familiar,'” recalls Corcoran, who received and earful of laughter from the Dallas Mavericks owner.

“The guy was pitching, so you’re in that mode,” added Corcoran, not knowing who the duo was until Cuban filled her in. “It was a lot of fun.”

Catch Barbara Corcoran on Shark Tank alongside fellow investors Mark Cuban, Daymon John, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary every Friday at 9pm on ABC-7 and with back to back episodes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on CNBC.
