Brad Blanks On the Sharknado 2 Red Carpet w/ Ian Ziering

Sharknado: The Second One, the sequel to the Sharknado movie that had us all intrigued and confused at the same time, airs tonight on SYFY at 9PM and will prove to be as big a hit as its predecessor. Actor Ian Ziering, known for his days on Beverly Hills 90210, survived the first Sharknado and is returning to the sequel to save the day.

Unlike the original, where the infamous shark-tornado attacked the city of Los Angeles, New York City is now in danger of the deadly shark superstorm.

Freakishly tall Big Show celebrity reporter Brad Blanks caught up with Ian Ziering to chat about the TV movie sensation, its future, and to find out exactly what his character, Finn, can do to a ferocious shark.

“Finn is a… he’s a complex man… he is a hero in civilian clothing. He is very capable of taking care of business but it’s nothing that he’s really had to do in the past, he’s really devoted to his family…he’s a lover, he’s not a fighter but he’s going to do whatever he can to make sure his family is safe,” Ziering said.

“I go mano-a-mano with a shark in this one.”
