Watch Jennifer Lawrence Rock Out To Santana in a ‘American Hustle’ Outtake
Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence had one of the most-talked-about scenes in 2013’s American Hustle when, as the wife of Christian Bale’s character, she maniacally cleaned her house to the sounds of Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die.”
Thanks to this week’s DVD/Blu-ray release of American Hustle, we now know that “Live and Let Die” wasn’t the only song considered for that scene.
In the extended/deleted scene section of the disc’s special features, we not only get to witness Lawrence’s complete lip-syncing performance of “Live and Let Die,” but also her scrapped performance of Santana’s 1969 hit “Evil Ways.”
In both scenes, Lawrence has an audience with her seemingly baffled young son viewing couch side. Check out the complete deleted scene below courtesy of Entertainment Tonight.
Other classic hits artists featured prominently on the American Hustle soundtrack include Steely Dan, ELO, Elton John, Chicago, and the Bee Gees.
