14-Year-Old Girl Shreds Van Halen’s ‘Eruption’ Solo

If you want to prove how musically gifted your child is, forget the work of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart. Every kid attending Juilliard can do that. The real test of a prodigy’s chops is mastering the work of Van Halen.

14-year-old Tina S. impeccably covers Eddie Van Halen’s “Eruption” solo, but appears to be completely unimpressed with herself.

After gaining some attention in 2008 for her rendition of Ferdinando Carulli’s “Andante,” Tina revealed her edgy, metal side with covers of AC/DC’s “Back In Black” and Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child Of Mine.”

The most pressing issue now is when will Tina and Avery Molek, the 6-year-old drummer who plays “Hot For teacher” on drums as well as Alex Van Halen, form a band of their own.
