Mulchfest 2013 is this weekend!
Join the Department of Parks & Recreation and the Sanitation Department tomorrow and Sunday from 10am-2pm to recycle your Christmas trees into wood chips!
These wood chips are used to nourish trees and plants on streets and gardens citywide. Or, take home your very own bag of mulch to use in your backyard or make a winter bed for a street tree.
More than 24,000 trees were recycled last year, find the dozens of drop-ff and chipping locations in the 5 boroughs by clicking HERE.
