After 50 years together, The Rolling Stones have no lack of material to choose from for their live shows. As previously reported, the band will play four big shows this year, and now they’ve given fans a few hints as to which songs will make the setlists.
The Stones’ official Twitter account, which has been exceedingly active in recent weeks, leaked a setlist scrawled in what appears to be Mick Jagger’s handwriting. Not only is it populated with the usual hits, there are more early-to-mid-’60s tracks listed than the band usually performs live. Rolling Stone reports that the band is currently rehearsing over in Europe for the upcoming shows in London and Newark, New Jersey, so it’s a fair guess that these are the songs they’re practicing.
However, the band is likely re-learning far more than just these 22 songs. Mick Jagger told London’s Evening Standard that the Stones were rehearsing roughly 60 songs in preparation for the shows this November and December. Additionally, Jagger noted that they’d been in touch with former bassist Bill Wyman in regards to having him make appearances during the shows.
Check out the full setlist below. Note that 1980′s “She’s So Cold” written twice (in general, someone’s excited about the ’80s material).
“She’s So Cold”
“You Got Me Rocking”
“All Down the Line”
“Respectable”

“Beast of Burden”

The band’s tweet with the setlist photo has since been deleted, but you can see it below (via NME).

Earlier this week, the Stones announced their two shows at London’s O2 Arena (November 25 and 29) and two shows at Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center (December 13 and 15). They have not played live since 2007′s tour behind A Bigger Bang, so no surprise, the demand for tickets will be quite high and the prices even higher. The general on-sale for the London shows starts October 19, while the Jersey on-sale starts October 26. Full on-sale and pre-sale information is available here.
Last week saw the premiere of the Stones’ new single “Doom and Gloom,” a political rocker with teeth. The song is one of two new tracks featured on the Stones’ upcoming greatest hits compilation, GRRR!, out November 14.
Additionally, the Stones’ new documentary, Crossfire Hurricane, debuts stateside November 15 on HBO, and makes its London premiere tonight (October 18).
