When you are at the helm of a super-blockbuster franchise like the updated Batman series, you typically take pride in it. That’s not the case with Christopher Nolan, who basically stepped aside from the series over the weekend and then blasted the digital movie-making genre!
Yep, it’s true! Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan confirmed over the weekend that this is the final Batman movie he will be involved with!
He is stepping aside from the franchise and he took a few jabs at Hollywood this weekend for relying too much on digital movies. Nolan is pro-film and says digital style is ”devaluing of what we do as filmmakers” and “reducing most theaters to showing TV commercials.”
