While you’re preparing (or prepped, you lil’ go-getter) for the big Memorial Day Weekend, CBS-FM will be your soundtrack while we countdown the Top 500 Artists. Just what you need to keep chuggin’ along for three days of barbeques, booze (responsibly) and good times.
We asked our prestigious on air staff at CBS-FM to “trim the fat” just a bit and cut the countdown from 500 down to 5. Don’t worry, we’re not giving away the crème de la crème of the Top 500, but we are delivering to you some of our jock’s Top 5 Artists of All Time.
How would the Top 5 look if Sue O’Neal was in charge? Have a look and see…
#5 Simon & Garfunkel
Simon & Garfunkel made more than music. Their songs are pure poetry.
#4 Cher
After watching her descend from the ceiling at Madison Square Garden inside a disco ball, I’ve decided this woman can do anything, at any age.
#3 Lou Rawls
Even Frank Sinatra loved this man’s velvet voice. I’m not one to argue with Ol’ Blue Eyes.
#2 Herman’s Hermits
I still have a mad crush on Peter Noone.
#1 The Beatles
First and forever, it will always be The Beatles.
Especially Ringo!
