The CBS-FM studio was given an extra dose of girl power this morning when Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne from the hit CBS daily daytime talk show The Talk stopped by to chat with Dan Taylor.
Host/moderator Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne, along with fellow co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler, have taken the show from the left coast to New York City. The Queen’s born Chen noticed there was one major difference with the move and it is one she is very fond of; the New York City crowd and attitude!
“They will tell it to you like it is,” exclaimed Chen, who drove a NYC taxi cab onto The Talk stage to make the announcement.
Both women manage very busy schedules. Sharon also acts as a judge on America’s Got Talent, which added a new wrinkle this year by adding the “King of All Media,” Howard Stern to the panel to replace departing judge Piers Morgan. Sharon thinks Stern’s presence will positively change the dynamic of the show and fans will be pleased.
“I think people are going to be very surprised by Howard. There’s a certain perception with a lot of people,” says Osbourne in regards to Stern’s reputation as a shock jock. “He’s multi-layered. He’s not just one dimensional and I think people will be pleasantly surprised.”
Speaking of surprises, Julie Chen made sure to deliver one more before exiting the CBS-FM studio, this one about her other gig with hit reality show Big Brother.
“The girls are moving into the Big Brother house and we are going to play a little, shortened game.”
You can watch Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne on The Talk weekdays at 2pm on CBS. America’s Got Talent airs Monday and Tuesday at 8pm on NBC and the new season of Big Brother premieres July 12th at 9pm on CBS.
