This week, Gloria Estefan packed her bags and made her way to L.A. to tape the season finale of Glee. From the moment she stepped on set, Estefan’s kept fans up to date on her every move.

Estefan will guest star as Santana’s (Naya Rivera) mother in the final episode of the season where the cheerleader comes out to her parents. Santana originally came out to her family in a November episode, where she said her parents were “okay” with her sexuality even though her grandma decided to disown her. But this is the first time viewers will actually see her parents. There’s no word yet on whether or not Estefan sings in the episode.

One of the main writers on the show, Brad Falchuk, gave fans a sneak peek when he posted a photo from the set that featured Rivera, Heather Morris (Brittany) and Estefan sitting in the show’s go-to restaurant, Breadsticks, which of course the singer retweeted.

Though Estefan was only on set two days, she managed to take a few photos with “her new daughter” Rivera, Morris and Chris Colfer who plays Kurt.

With only two episodes left, Estefan isn’t the only celeb making an appearance. According to Perez Hilton, he and Lindsay Lohan will be featured in next Tuesday’s (May 15) two-hour episode. The season finale airs May 22.
