Daryl Hall has just kicked off a mini-tour to promote his acclaimed web show, Live At Daryl’s House. The tour, dubbed the “Live From Daryl’s House: Nu-Soul Revue,” features Hall and his backing band from the show, with two of the show’s recent guests, up-and-coming singer-songwriter Allen Stone and soul powerhouse Sharon Jones.

Hall has over 50 episodes of the show under his belt, with guests ranging from former members of The Doors to Cee Lo Green to Smokey Robinson. Hall also features younger artists who are still earning their stripes, and being on his show has made an effect on their careers. Hall discusses his popular web series in our video interview — shot at Daryl’s House — below.

During the show, Hall and his band back their guests on their own songs, and there are usually collaborations on Hall & Oates classics as well. That’s the case with the current tour, which sees Stone and Jones singing their songs, and joining Hall for his biggest hits (Hall also does a set of songs from his latest solo album, Laughing Down Crying).
