The CW has ordered three new pilots for the fall season and one of them is The Carrie Diaries, based on the “Sex and the City” prequel book.

Other shows given the green light are Arrow, based on the DC Comics Green Lantern character and a “procedural, real-life” version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast!
