Now while there will be many acts you won’t recognize, Squeeze is certainly one that should be on your radar. With hits like “Tempted,” “Up the Junction,” and “Cool for Cats,” the band has attained a dedicated following that still thrives today, with new fans jumping on board.

“Tempted”

“Tempted” didn’t even chart in the Top 40 when it was released in the UK in July of ’81. But over time it has become their signature song, a favorite amongst fans, as well as the band themselves.

“It was our first song. It was when we grew up, really, as a band. When we finished it I couldn’t quite believe it was us,” says Glenn Tilbrook.
