It’s all over for AMC (Final Episode Shoot / ABC)

Coming out of the blue, the door has closed for any return of our beloved cancelled ABC soaps.

Prospect Park has completely suspended its plan to move All My Children and One Life to Live online after several months of planning.

Why did this happen? Too many “issues” made the deadlines and commitments impossible to get the shows on the air.

Prospect Park, the company that was trying to get the shows online, said the economic challenges were too difficult to even consider trying anymore and they were forced to abandon the project.

Rumors are circulating that the writers and production staff for the shows refused to take pay cuts from their ABC salaries, making the project impossible.

Prospect Park needed around $80 million to get the shows going and couldn’t come close to raising the money. The legendary Agnes Nixon insists she has not given up on the shows returning and is actively looking for ways to raise the money to make it happen.

Looks like this will be the final memory of AMC!
