Terrible news coming out of the UK, as multiple sources are confirming [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bee Gees[/lastfm] legend [lastfm link_type=""]Robin Gibb[/lastfm] has been diagnosed with Liver Cancer. A close friend of Robin confirms he was actually diagnosed months ago and has kept it secret.

It was only a month ago that Robin cancelled a meeting with British Prime Minister David Cameron, and the news has just surfaced here in the states that the legendary Bee Gees singer is battling liver cancer.

The U.K. newspaper The Sunday Mirror says Gibb received the diagnosis several months ago and was rushed to the hospital last Tuesday after an emergency call was made from his mansion.

He returned home after five hours, but a close friend told the Mirror he remains seriously ill.
