Yes, you read that correctly. Queen plans on releasing an album consisting of old demos that feature the late Freddie Mercury. Guitarist Brian May has confirmed that he and drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Roger Taylor[/lastfm] are going through the bands vault for old material to compile for a forthcoming LP.

Along with the LP of previously unreleased material, May would also like to work on a sequel to the long-running musical We Will Rock You.

“As well as seeing what we can unearth, we want to do a new musical to follow ‘We Will Rock You’. The songs are there, it’s just a question of finding time to get the right production,” May said in an interview. The West End musical, which the band wrote with comedian Ben Elton, features songs by Queen and has been running since 2002 in cities around the world, including Melbourne, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Toronto.
