It’s one of the biggest celebrations of the year and one of those rare opportunities when EVERYONE can join in on the fun. The 39th annual Village Halloween Parade runs from 7-10pm along Sixth Avenue from Spring Street to 16th Street!
Anyone in costume can participate in the parade! Just meet at the line-up spots on 6th Avenue South of Spring Street and North of Canal between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
Fifty-three different bands, puppets, and dancers will be on hand at the nation’s largest public Halloween celebration. If you can’t make it out to the village, catch the parade from 7:30pm-10pm on PIX-11.
A Halloween Celebration at the American Museum of Natural History happens today from 4-7 pm. More than thirty of the museum’s popular halls will be open for trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, roaming cartoon characters, and live performances!
The “Creepshow at the Freakshow” happens at Coney Island tonight!
See “The Ride Inspector’s Nightmare,” which takes you through the building’s back stairs and basements. The rides at Luna Park will also be open for the last night of the season!
The Steampunk Haunted House at the Abrons Arts Center on Grand Street takes you into the darker aspects of Lewis Carroll’s classic stories. Unlike traditional haunted houses that rely on gore or graphic violence, this event promises to chill, delight, and terrify without having to show a single drop of blood!
