Causi’s Best: Who’s Got the Best Pizza in the Tri-State?

It’s that time of year everybody. And no, I’m not talking about Fall, football season, or Halloween. October is National Pizza Month! Whether it’s out in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Jersey, or right here in Manhattan, I’m out to find the best pizza in the tri-state area.

And here’s the fun part… YOU recommend the place!

No matter where you reside in the tri-state area, you know there are tons of pizza places around, so it’s tough to decide which one is the best. But whether it’s the sweet sauce, gooey cheese, or thick sicilian crust, there is always one place you hold near and dear to your heart as the best shop around.

But how am I supposed to decide where the best slice is? Easy… I’ll leave it up to you!

Let us know what pizza place in the tri-state is the best of the best. After we narrow down the choices, we’ll let YOU vote on the winner, and whomever comes out on top will get a visit from myself and the CBS-FM Street Team! We’ll film and photograph our visit, which will include us indulging in a large amount of pizza, of course.

And don’t worry, when we find out where our destination is, we’ll be sure to let you know… the more the merrier!

So let’s get this started. Leave the name and location of the best pizza place in the tri-state according to YOU!

  • Text us: 4-1-0-1-1
  • Leave a comment below!

After we sort through all of your recommendations, we’ll set up one final vote to be decided on by YOU! And if you’re feeling real saucy (see what I did there?), leave us a photo of YOUR choice on our Facebook page.

Now what are you waiting for… I’m STARVING!!!

The best pizza is at a place called VIPizza located at 43-02 Bell Blvd. in Bayside, Queens.
It brings me back to the pizza I ate as a kid which was fabulous. They’ve been there for decades and they DO NOT DELIVER! What other pizza place do you know of that doesn’t deliver? They don’t have to. Everybody comes to them. And they don’t even make any dinners like other pizza places do. They are always crowded even in the summer.
Other pizza places on the neighboring streets were put out of business simply because VIPizza rules!!!
