Pink Floyd Week Coming to ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’

It has been announced that the music of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pink Floyd[/lastfm] will be celebrated all next week on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Bands like [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pearl Jam[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Foo Fighters[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]the Shins[/lastfm] will be on hand all week, as well as interviews with Pink Floyd members [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nick Mason[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Roger Waters[/lastfm].

Rolling Stone reports that Mason and Waters will appear on Monday and Tuesday of next week, with Waters performing “In the Flesh” from The Wall with Foo Fighters Tuesday night.

Each musical guest for the week will perform a song from the Pink Floyd catalog. Scheduled to appear on Monday is The Shins who will play “Breathe” from Dark Side of the Moon. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]MGMT[/lastfm] will cover “Lucifer Sam” on Wednesday, followed by Country singer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Dierks Bentley[/lastfm]’s performance of “Wish You Were Here” on Thursday. Pink Floyd week will come to a close with Pearl Jam’s performance of “Mother” from The Wall.
