Overlooked by the details about the new iCloud system, Steve Jobs unveiled the new iOS 5 mobile operating system, which has big upgrades!

The Apple team highlighted the biggest of the new features, which will be available sometime in the fall.

• With the new operating system, all your notifications will be found in one place and will no longer pop up on the phone
• All of your news apps will automatically go into a “newsstand” that resembles the iBooks setup
• The camera will now be available even when your phone is locked, and the volume control will be used to take pictures instead of opening the app
• iMessage will allow you to send text messages to other iPhone users just like the blackberry BBM service
