 Fleet Week 2011 Kicks Off This Morning

Fleet Week kicks off at 9:30 this morning as the parade of ships makes its way up the Hudson! The ships will be led by the USS New York.  The vessel’s bow includes several tons of steel recovered from the World Trade Center.

Three thousand sailors, marines and coast guardsmen will be visiting the city! What a day to get things going!
