The highly anticipated [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rolling Stones[/lastfm] 50th anniversary celebration next year may happen in the form of another world tour.
The Rolling Stones’ first documented gig was on July 12, 1962 in London.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Keith Richards[/lastfm] told The Sun that a concert in London on the 50th anniversary of that show is in the works, as well as a whole world tour and new album.
“There’s something in the wind,” he hinted to the U.K. publication when asked about their 50th anniversary plans.
He also said he has apologized to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Mick Jagger[/lastfm] for disparaging remarks he made in his memoir. So now it sounds like the Stones are getting back to doing what they do best, play incredible sold-out rock & roll shows. And their 50th anniversary celebration should be no exception.
