WCBS 880 reporter Peter Haskell called into the Dan Taylor show this morning to share the local reaction to the death of Osama Bin Laden.
He encountered people from all over the tri-state area who ran to the World Trade Center site in what became a celebration last night after the news broke of Bin Laden’s death.

One story Peter shared was about a man who lost his fire fighter father on 9-11 and was inspired to go to West Point. He is currently an Army Captain on leave who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was at his mothers house in Queens last night when he heard the story and immediately went to the World Trade Center site to share his emotions!
