U2, Bono Finish Up South American Tour with a Little Karaoke
You just finished up your South American through Peru, Chile, and Brazil… what do you do? Take a nap, call mom, or maybe even make a sandwich would be three things on your “to-do” list.
That’s not the case for Bono and the rest of the boys in U2. They like to celebrate a successful tour by taking their talents underground to the local karaoke bar.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]U2[/lastfm] just finished up the South American portion of there 360 Tour with the help of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Muse[/lastfm] and decided to unwind with a few drinks and some karaoke at a Sao Paulo nightclub called Bar Secreto.
Bono and some unknown patron of Bar Secreto would cover “Psycho Killer” by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Talking Heads [/lastfm]with help from Larry Mullen and Muse‘s Dom Howard on drums.
Watch Bono sing “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads!
Pretty sweet deal if you’re that girl on stage with Bono. Having him there completely distracts everyone from finding out you barely know the lyrics… or have a horrible voice, as do most people who sing karaoke. Can you really blame her? Who wants to get on stage and compete with Bono?
But you did get a nice dance and kiss on the cheek from one of the biggest rock stars on planet Earth.
Here’s Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer.” I know you’re in the mood for the original now.
