This weekend, with the release of the remake of the classic Dudley Moore comedy Arthur, one of my pet peeves will be pushed to the limit. The pet peeve? Unnecessarily remaking movies that were perfectly good to begin with! To that end, I’ve come up with 25 movies that did not need to be remade.

When will the powers-that-be in Hollywood actually use some creativity and concentrate on taking flops that had strong potential and actually remaking them?!?!

No movie should ever be remade, period. The same goes for music. If these “writers” can’t come up with their OWN ideas, then what’s the point??
