New Policies For Children's Car Seats

The American Academy of Pediatrics has released new policies for children’s car and booster seats. The last guidelines were issued in 2002 and the new ones are “significantly modified”

Infants and toddlers riding in rear-facing car seats should now stay in these seats until they are 2 years old instead of just 12 months.

The study says children are 75 percent less likely to die or be severely injured in a car crash if they are rear-facing.
