Elton John’s son by a surrogate mother is just over a week old and he already has a multi-million-dollar apartment of his own!

London’s Mail on Sunday reports that Elton and his partner, David Furnish, have hired a top Hollywood interior designer to turn the Los Angeles apartment that adjoins theirs into a dream nursery.

A source says, “From what I understand, the baby and his nannies are living in one apartment, and Elton and David are living in another.” Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John sleeps in a $300 cradle that comes with an iPod hook-up.

The Daily Mail reports that Elton, who’s listed as the father, and David, the mother, are discussing having a second child.

Wow, that child sleeps in a nicer crib than I do!
