“(Just Like) Romeo & Juliet” was co-written by Freddy Gorman, the real-life postal w0rker who also co-wrote “Please Mr. Postman” for [lastfm]the Marvelettes [/lastfm]and was a member of the Motown act [lastfm]the Originals [/lastfm](“Baby I’m For Real”).

[lastfm]The Reflections [/lastfm]came out of the Detroit area but lead singer Tony Micale was born in the Bronx! Check out his pompadour:
