It was speculated by many earlier in the week that [lastfm]Whitney Houston[/lastfm] was hospitalized because of drug abuse.  Whitney hit back at those reports and called them nothing but “ridiculous.”

Whitney Houston spoke to People.com and said that she’s “just ready to move on and continue my world tour” and that she is “feeling great.”  Houston was actually hospitalized because of a upper respiratory infection and had to delay the start of her European Tour.  She kicks of her tour Tuesday in Birmingham, England.
